Latest news

Hey guys,

I know it has been a while since I last wrote, but I am back and on track again. I am re-releasing my first book under a slightly modified title and with a ton of edits. The main reason for the rename is as follows:
So much time has passed since I wrote this book (12 years if you can believe it) that I have completely lost all of the follow up stories I intended on writing about the other Minotaurs of Algoron. I still have tons of tales from the land of Algoron, but none about Minotaurs. So I have renamed the book to The Price of Honor, book 1 of The Lore of Algoron.

I have started the next book in the series, which is good news for me. This one will be titled, The Price of Dignity, book 2 of The Lore of Algoron. Here is the synopsis:

The mines of Dolund'ir were rich with precious stones, but due to the poisonous gases that even the stout constitutions of the dwarves could not endure, they were unsuitable to mine by any other race on Algoron, with the exception of one. The goblin's of Algoron were enslaved by the Dwarven kingdom due to their immunity to most poisons and their small frames, perfect for navigating the winding caverns. For hundred's of years they worked the mines and ultimately developped their own city within the deepest bowels of the labrynth like tunnels. Though they were largely left alone, so long as their quotas were met, they were still slaves and were treated with brutal hatred. The city they built was nothing more than a large prison which they were never permitted to leave. They were THE inferior race within all of Algoron, perceived to be nothing more than a foul smelling hoard of unintelligent monsters. That is until Gew Dukh'ba came of age. He was different than the others. The poisonous gases had affected him in a way only a few others would be affected. His brain developped more completely allowing him an attribute that none of the other goblins had at the time, ambition. An attribute that would soon drive him to lead his people from the slave mines and into the world of Men, Dwarves, Minotaurs and Elves. This is the Epic tale of his rise from lowly slave to one of the most influencial and sinister leaders of the world of Algoron.

I can't wait to finish this one. The story is boiling up in me and needs to come out. I'll try to keep you guys posted.

Yay Reviews

Reviews are always welcome when it comes to novels and somehow, I managed to not even notice when they had been posted for my own novel, The Price of Honor, Book 1 of the Minotaurs of Algoron. I feel bad because I basically published the book and then moved on.

I just want the reviewers to know that I am deeply grateful for the kind words and encouragement. Had I read these when they were posted, I may have already put out the 2nd book. As it is, I am still working on a couple of different projects, but I do intend on getting back to the original series. I am considering, however, changing the title to The Price of Honor, Book 1 of the Lore of Algoron. This way I can introduce more incredible characters and expand my base. Let me know what you think about this.

Again, thanks guys for the reviews. My readers, though currently few, absolutely rock.

Prologue and Chapter 1 posted

I have posted the prologue and first chapter of the book to the web site. Please, if you will, take a moment and check it out. I would love some feedback about the direction I am taking in this book and while you are there, sign the guest book. If you check that you would like your name used in the book as an extra character or even a main one, I will do my best to work it in.

I am working on trying to edit as I write this time so I do not have such a mess to clean up when its all said and done. :)

New book and new Site

I have decided to write a new book called Seven Deaths. This will be a pre-apocolyptic story about seven people who are to be sacrificed in a last ditch effort to save the world from full blown armageddon.

In a nutshell, the world is on it's last breath. Abuse of resources, man-made mayhem, and time have all taken their tolls. The problem is, it is not yet time for the prophesied apololypse. God, seeing the dispair of his people, sends Gabriel, his trusted messenger, to deliver hope to the world. But, their salvation will not be free. As they are largely responsible for the destruction around them, there will be a price for the worlds renewal.

Seven people must step forward and present themselves as sacrifices. The torments they will face leading up to their deaths will be far beyond any ever suffered by humanity throughout time, but when it is said and done, the world will be renewed and a second chance will be given.

The delimma; the world has become quite selfish. No one comes forward. In a panic, the world government decides to coerce seven death row inmates into the positions of sacrifice. Six of these vile beings are the worse of the worst, guilty of unimaginable crimes against humanity. The seventh is an innocent man, found guilty of crimes he did not commit.

They are sacrificed, but since they were coerced, and not true volunteers, they do not die. They suffer unlike any before them, but all it does is flush what is left of their humanity from their bodies and they become creatures of nightmares, swiftly breaking free of their confines and beginning to wreak havoc on the world. The seventh man, however, retains his sanity, though only just.

The world is now closer to distruction than before, with the six beasts bringing more destruction and chaos than the world had set upon itself. With the clock ticking, the seventh man must overcome his suffering, hunt down and kill the others, else the sacrifices will not have been completed and the world will die. Only the seven deaths can spare the world from total annihilation.

I will try to keep a status posted on the site as the story develops and hopefully, when it is all said and done, I will be able to announce the book's release.

I would appreciate any words of support, advice, or just simple hello's along the way. If you visit the site, please fill out my guest book and let me know if it is ok for me to use your name as an extra in the book. It doesn't guarantee that I will, but you have a better chance than if you don't sign the book. :)

Book Club

Just found out my brother and the players on his game are reveiwing my book, which incidentally, is based on the game. I think it's awesome that they are doing this.

I am enjoying reading their thoughts so far. It's hard to believe it's been so long since I wrote the book, but just reading their input brings it all back to me. I am ready to write another one I think, but first I want to completely re-edit the first one.

At any rate, it is good to see some come off the shelf. I don't make hardly anything on them, but it feels good to know they are getting out there.

I should publish the createspace site so I can get a bigger cut, but I think the book rating on Amazon is more important right now.

Thanks to everyone who is buying and reading the book. I will probably get on the board sometime soon when they have finished the review so I can get some one on one feedback. Hopefully some of them will leave some feedback on Amazon for it.

Thanks to my brother for letting me do this in the first place.

Started a fictional blog (We'll call it Bliction)

Well, being unsuccessful blogging about reality, I have decided to write a blog about something I am more comfortable with, that is, fantasy. The blog is completely fictional and holds no attachment to reality as we know it, which should be obvious immediately.

Please let me know if you like it and if I should continue with it. You can see it at http://dailydaydreamblog.blogspot.com/.
